NJTL of Trenton Summer Camp 2025

That's a Wrap for this year!

On August 14, 2025, NJTL of Trenton’s Summer Camp concluded with a fun-filled end-of-season celebration at Cadwalader Park. Campers enjoyed a picnic, DJ and dance-offs, field obstacle courses, hit-for-prizes challenges, book giveaways, and, of course, plenty of tennis!

We were honored to welcome special guests who joined in celebrating the accomplishments of our young athletes, including Mayor Reed Gusciora, Assemblywoman Tennielle McCoy, Mercer County Executive Dan Benson, Councilwoman Teska Frisby, Director Paul Harris, and the Trenton Fire Department.  Mayor Gusciora shared exciting news with the campers:  “Next year, they will have brand new courts to play on,” as the City of Trenton plans a full renovation of the tennis courts at Cadwalader Park.

A special thank you to professional photographer Beverly Schaefer for capturing all the memorable moments of the day.  Be sure to scroll down to see the pictures!    We look forward to seeing our campers back next year!

The Best Place to Learn Tennis

Established in 1975, the NJTLT’s summer program initially began at one site with 30 youngsters. It now operates at numerous sites with hundreds of children.  The summer program emphasizes character development and tennis instruction.  In addition to the Tennis & Ace programs, many additional opportunities are offered throughout the summer – field trips, Junior Team Tennis, US Open Arthur Ashe Kids Day trip, Trenton Thunder Baseball games, etc. Many city and local organizations and camps collaborate and utilize the program to incorporate tennis instruction into their programming allowing NJTLT to reach a greater number of students.
