Our 28th Annual Gala was held Sunday, September 25, 2022, at the Mercer County Tennis Center and The Boat House at Mercer Lake. Long-time supporters Paul Decker and Bill Whyte were honored and The World Champion Bryan Brothers, Bob and Mike, returned as our special guests!

Proceeds from this signature event directly benefit our Trenton-area kids, creating opportunities for success through innovative tennis, education, and mentoring programs designed to prepare student-athletes for college admission and career placement.

Honorees: Paul Decker & Bill Whyte

Paul Decker is a nationally recognized expert in policy research, data analytics, education, and labor policy. For three decades, he has worked to improve public well-being through the use of evidence to improve programs and policy. As president and CEO of Mathematica, Paul sets the company’s vision and strategy, oversees its operation and management, and shapes its values and standards. During his tenure as CEO, Paul has expanded and diversified the company’s operations and maintained its commitment to rigor and objectivity in new and evolving areas of research and analysis.

Paul Decker joined the National Junior Tennis and Learning of Trenton (NJTLT) Board in 2015. He serves on the executive committee and is currently the Board Treasurer.

Bill Whyte is currently Head of Janssen Pharmaceuticals Strategic Partnerships and Business Solutions area. Bill has been with Johnson & Johnson for over 30 years and has held numerous senior level roles across the pharmaceuticals, medical technology and consumer sectors. Bill has worked across Johnson & Johnson businesses both domestically and internationally. In his current capacity, Bill and his team are responsible for identifying and shaping strategic partnerships with external partners and stakeholders that will strengthen the commercial impact of Janssen’s portfolio of transformational products. Bill and his family are passionate about giving back to their community and have supported the NJTL mission for over 20 years. Bill joined the NJTL board in 2016 and continues Janssen’s long
legacy of supporting our organization. Bill serves on the executive committee of NJTL and is currently the board Vice Chairman.
