The 13th Annual Short Court Championship was a tremendous success, bringing together students, volunteers, and supporters for a fun-filled day of tennis, teamwork, and sportsmanship on Friday, May 8, 2026, at the Mercer County Community College Tennis Courts. Students from Paul Robeson Elementary, Christina Seix Academy, Robbins Elementary, and Cadwalader Elementary competed throughout the day, showcasing their skills and positive attitudes both on and off the court.
The event would not have been possible without the dedication and support of our NJTLT junior coaches and volunteers from Bloomberg LP, who assisted with scorekeeping, lunch distribution, and tournament operations throughout the day. We would also like to extend special thanks to Ice DreamZ18 for providing frozen treats for the players and to Alsaah Tennis Academy for generously lending tennis courts for the event.
A very special thank you goes to professional photographer Beverly Schaefer for capturing the excitement and unforgettable moments from this year’s championship. We are incredibly proud of all the student-athletes who participated and represented their schools with great sportsmanship. We are already looking forward to next year’s Short Court Championship!
